Our Approach to Physical Therapy

Exceptional care begins with time, expertise, and intention.

Every session is delivered one-on-one by a licensed physical therapist in a calm, private setting. Your care is never rushed, delegated, or standardized. Instead, each visit is thoughtfully designed around your specific goals, symptoms, and stage of life.

Treatment is always collaborative and paced to your comfort. You are fully informed and in control of every step. Internal pelvic floor examination or treatment is never required and is performed only when appropriate, clearly explained, and with your consent.

Care may include advanced manual therapy, precise mechanical spine assessment, and individualized corrective exercise. We also address the nervous system as a foundation for healing — supporting regulation, breathing mechanics, and pain science principles so your body can move out of protection and into recovery. Your plan evolves as you progress, ensuring care that is responsive, personalized, and results-driven.

Ongoing advanced education is central to this practice. I pursue high-level training in pelvic health and spine rehabilitation and work closely with respected mentors in both specialties. This commitment ensures your treatment reflects current research, refined clinical skill, and a depth of experience not found in volume-based settings.

If you have tried physical therapy before without success, it may simply mean you have not yet experienced the right approach. My goal is to provide the level of care I would want for my own family — attentive, skilled, collaborative, and uncompromising in quality.

Why We Address the Nervous System

Healing is not just about muscles and joints. When the body has been under prolonged stress, pain, or trauma, the nervous system can remain in a heightened “fight or flight” state. In this protective mode, muscles often stay tense, pain signals become amplified, and true recovery is harder to access. Part of our work may include gentle strategies that support nervous system regulation — such as breathing mechanics, vagus nerve toning, pacing, and guided movement — to help your body shift out of protection and into healing.

Advanced Pelvic and Spine Care

The pelvic floor, spine, and nervous system are deeply interconnected. Pain or dysfunction in one area often influences the others, which is why effective treatment requires a comprehensive and highly specialized approach.

My practice focuses on the integration of pelvic health physical therapy and advanced spine rehabilitation. This includes expert evaluation of pelvic floor function, mechanical spine assessment using Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT / McKenzie Method), and treatment strategies that address both musculoskeletal dysfunction and nervous system regulation.

This combined perspective is particularly valuable for individuals experiencing complex or persistent symptoms — including pelvic pain, postpartum recovery challenges, bladder dysfunction, chronic neck or back pain, and headaches. By addressing the full system rather than isolated symptoms, treatment becomes more precise and outcomes more durable.

Patients from Palos Heights and surrounding communities seek care here for thoughtful, one-on-one treatment that integrates advanced training, clinical reasoning, and an individualized plan designed for lasting recovery.
